Exploring Reciprocal Teaching Method on EFL Learners’ Reading Comprehension

چکیده

This research was carried out as the learning activities in reading classroom were not yet effective. As a result, student's ability to comprehend texts poor. study aims improve EFL students’ comprehension by implementing Reciprocal Teaching Method (RTM), especially comprehending IELTS texts. Classroom action conducted following four stages; planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting actions. The (RTM) consists of predicting, questioning, clarifying, summarizing engage learners groupwork activities, boost motivation, well enhance their comprehension. 28 from English department who enrolled Reading course selected participants. Data gathered through observations, tests, interviews, document reviews. results revealed that boosts students' engages them during teaching process.
